Letter to Asrama, Rempang

A week has passed since our trip to Rempang and some of our team members are still talking about it. We are all grateful to have had the opportunity to work at the Asrama together with the local community and to get to know everyone and the children better.

It was really great to see everyone extending a hand to improve the living conditions for the children at the Asrama.

We were wonderfully surprised by the ceremony of the tree planting and release of the fish on the last day. It was indeed the highlight of our trip which all of us will remember for a long time as it marks the friendship we all share with everyone at Rempang over the years.

On behalf of the Team, we wish to convey our sincere thanks and gratitude for allowing us to come to Rempang and the warm hospitality shown to each one of us during our 4 days there.
Everyone in our team was indeed touched by our experience and as one of the team members put it, “it has been a privilege to be a small part of the children’s lives”.

With Love and Gratitude
Carol & Edmund
